The trophies have leaked for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and it seems another relatively easy platinum for trophy hunters. The hidden trophies are concealed to hide spoilers, and the achievements possibly confirm the inclusion of some unannounced villains.
Insomniac’s most marketed villain in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is Venom. He is arguably Spidey’s most iconic rogue next to the Green Goblin, but there are significant changes such as Harry Osborne being Venom instead of bodybuilder, Eddie Brock. Another main rogue in the upcoming sequel is Kraven the Hunter as he has traveled to New York to hunt down not one Spider-Man, but two. While Venom and Kraven are two fantastic rogues already confirmed, one of the game’s trophies may confirm the inclusion of another famous baddie last seen in Spider-Man No Way Home.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 trophies possibly leak new villains
The new villains revealed for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could very well be Sandman and Carnage.
Truetrophies has leaked all of the sequel’s trophies online and, for the most part, they’re relatively spoiler free. They show all of the collectibles and challenges you will need to complete to 100% of the game, and the platinum shouldn’t be any harder than the original MSM and Miles Morales follow-up.
While we won’t discuss all of the possible spoilers, one of the most interesting trophies is named Grains of Sand. The description for this trophy is ‘Piece Together Broken Memories,’ but fans on Reddit see the name as a wink to Sandman.

In addition to Sandman, fans also believe there are possible references to Carnage. Some fans believe the trophy named Crimson Hour could be a reference to Cletus Kasady, and, of course, many are hoping he will appear in the game.
Of course, neither Sandman nor Carnage are confirmed. Sandman we could see as a side villain in the game, but Carnage feels way less likely. It’s possible Carnage could maybe appear in a post-credits scene seeing as Insomniac is already teasing Spider-Man 3, but we wouldn’t expect Cletus to have any significant part in MSM2.

This is all the rogues that have been revealed in trailers and gameplay demos. There will be more baddies in the game, but Insomniac obviously wants to keep some secrets for the full release.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20th for PlayStation. Most of the hype surrounding the game is extremely positive, but there is some division online over the face models for Peter and MJ.
