A new promotional trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has appeared online that is bound to set the hearts of dedicated fans racing for the game’s release.
Other than who we already know about, there are other villains confirmed for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. There is Kraven the Hunter, there’s the Lizard, there’s the return of Martin Li and even more that Insomniac has not announced yet. While there is plenty of excitement around the debut of Kraven the Hunter in Insomniac’s universe, the headliner is obviously Spidey’s most famous rogue, Venom, and boy is he big!

New promotional footage for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 shows a huge difference in size between Peter Parker and Venom.
The footage comes from a promo in Portugal that has been shared online by Twitter user multiversebro.
It shows Peter’s new web wings as he flies down to the streets of New York to battle Venom. And this is where we see the vast size difference as Venom easily picks Spider-Man up in just one hand.
The size of Venom has been an issue in the past such as Spider-Man 3 where he was infamously small. Other Spider-Man games haven’t done an amazing job of portraying just how much Eddie Brock dwarfs Peter Parker.

While it’s good news that Insomniac has gotten the size of Venom right, fans should know that this is not Eddie Brock. Insomniac is telling an original story where the famous rogue is instead Peter’s best friend, Harry Osborne.
Spidey’s second adventure by Insomniac launches for PlayStation on October 20th. You can pre-order right now from the PSN store.
Everything about the game looks spectacular, and the developer is already teasing a sequel. But, although there’s mostly positive hype surrounding the upcoming game, there is a bit of division online about the face models for Peter and MJ.
