The free Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update is finally here. It overhauls the original experience with wild car chases and actually competent police, but it also adds former adult film actress Sasha Grey following comparisons between her and the Lara Croft skin in Call of Duty.
Cyberpunk 2077 originally came out in 2020, but it feels like a brand new game three years later in 2023. This is thanks to the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion that is set to introduce Night City residents to a brand new playground as well as Hollywood megastar, Idris Elba. However, before the arrival of Idris Elba, fans will be able to download update 2.0 and hear the vocals of Sasha Grey over the radio.
Sasha Grey in Cyberpunk 2077
Former adult film actress Sasha Grey is confirmed to have a role in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.
Rather than a character you will be able to interact with, you will hear her voice presenting the brand-new in-game radio station, Growl FM. And the name of her radio presenter character is DJ Ash.
Growl FM is one of three new radio stations in 2.0, and it features 14 songs chosen from 8,000 tracks submitted by the game’s community. CD Projekt RED has uploaded a documentary on the making of Growl FM, meanwhile, all 14 songs are available to listen to here.
This isn’t the first voice acting role for Sasha Grey in video games. It happened over a decade ago, but she was Viola DeWynter in Saints Row The Third.
Sasha Grey looks like Lara Croft in Call of Duty
While officially cast in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, many fans online claimed that the recent Lara Croft skin in Call of Duty resembles Sasha Grey.
Many tweets were sent her way with her retweeting and responding to a number of them online.
As for the real Sasha Grey, you can find her on YouTube as well as Twitch where she streams video games. She’s a huge fan of the video games industry, and she’s lately been playing through Lies of P.
In other Cyberpunk 2077 news, a fan has created a must-watch masterpiece movie before the release of Phantom Liberty. It’s easily bingeable in just one sitting, and it can remind you all about what happened in the game before the DLC’s launch on September 26th for PlayStation, PC, and Xbox.
