The Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update is now out and it’s bringing everyone back to the Afterlife of Night City. In your return to CD Projekt RED’s dystopia, you may not realize there are many more famous celebrities as face models and voice actors than just Keanu Reeves as there’s Elon Musk, Sasha Grey, and now Idris Elba to name just a few.
Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.0 is now available to download whether you are on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC. It is a complete overhaul of the original experience with revamped gameplay including a police force that is actually working for their paycheque by hunting you down in exhilarating car chases for being a menace to society. Cyberpunk 2077 has always been an incredibly ambitious project, and this can be seen with some of the celebrity face models and voice actors in both prominent roles and cameos.
Cyberpunk 2077 celebrity face models and voice actors
The most obvious celebrity face models and voice actors in Cyberpunk 2077 are Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba.
Keanu Reeves stars throughout Cyberpunk 2077 as Johnny Silverhand, meanwhile, Idris Elba has a large role in the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion. The review embargo for Phantom Liberty has already ended, and final verdicts are very positive for what is essentially the game’s swansong.
As well as the two biggest names in the game, they also have very extensive roles. After all, Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand is pivotal to the plot as he is a deadly chip and ticking time bomb stuck in the head of protagonist V.
However, although the biggest names, they are not the richest as that feat belongs to Elon Musk.
Where to find Elon Musk’s cameo in Cyberpunk 2077?
You can only find the Elon Musk cameo in Cyberpunk 2077 if you choose the Corpo Lifepath.
This life path begins with either male or female V in the bathroom vomiting inside a sink. And, blink or you’ll miss it, in the reflection is CD Projekt RED’s version of Elon Musk walking into one of the toilet stalls
Unfortunately, the resemblance isn’t uncanny as the NPC isn’t a complete like-for-like. Still, there’s a version of Elon Musk in the game.
Not only is there Elon Musk but there is also his ex-girlfriend and pop star, Lizzy Wizzy.
Where to find Lizzy Wizzy
Lizzy Wizzy’s celebrity cameo in Cyberpunk 2077 happens during a side quest called Violence.
Her character is a celebrity pop star named Grimes. She meets V in the No-Tell Motel, and she tasks V with following her boyfriend to see if he is cheating on her.
Alas, the Grimes character model doesn’t look one-to-one identical to Wizzy Lizzy like Johnny Silverhand with Keanu Reeves. This is because Grimes has fully embraced the cyberware lifestyle and is completely covered in metallic silver.
Sasha Grey in Cyberpunk 2077
Former adult film actress, Sasha Grey, is added to Cyberpunk 2077 through update 2.0.
She is the presenter of the brand-new in-game radio station, Growl FM. The name of her character is DJ Ash, and the radio station consists of 14 songs chosen from 8,000 tracks submitted by the game’s following.
CD Projekt RED has uploaded a documentary on the making of Growl FM, meanwhile, all 14 songs are available to listen to here. Not only is she in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, but Sasha Grey also looks a lot like the new Lara Croft skin in Call of Duty.
Cyberpunk 2077 Hideo Kojima face model cameo
A really easy-to-miss cameo in Cyberpunk 2077 is legendary video game director, Hideo Kojima.
Kojima is famous for being the mastermind behind the Metal Gear Solid franchise when he was at Konami. Now he is the genius behind the Death Stranding series starring celebrities Norman Reedus and Lea Seydoux.
Back to CD Projekt RED’s sci-fi RPG though, you can find the Metal Gear Solid director in Act 1 during the famous heist gone wrong mission. When infiltrating the hotel, tell the waitress you wish to explore rather than go up to your room.
In the bar, you will find Kojima’s character, Oshima. And yes, it is 100% Kojima’s face.
Alanah Pearce’s face model cameo in Cyberpunk 2077
In addition to all of the above, there is also a face model and voice acting cameo from games journalist, Alanah Pearce.
She is the face model and voice of a character named Lana. She is only included in the story for players who choose the Nomad lifepath.
Her appearance happens during a side quest called These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. She is in possession of your car at the beginning of the Nomad lifepath, and obviously, you want it back.
You can find Alanah Pearce on her very own YouTube channel, charalanhazard.
Cyberpunk 2077 Panam and Judy face models
Away from all the celebrity cameos in the game, the face model for Panam isn’t known, but fans believe she is based on American actress Tristin Mays.
Mays is not the face model, but she’s acknowledged the resemblance online. She has been involved with television series such as MacGyver and The Vampire Diaries.
As for the other female romance option, Judy Alvarez, the face model was found and shared on Reddit. However, the individual’s name has not been shared, and the final character design for Judy is strikingly different.
Although not the faces, the voice actresses for Panam and Judy Alvarez are Emily Woo Zeller and Carla Tassara respectively.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 is now out on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The update is completely free, whereas Phantom Liberty costs £24.99 and comes out on September 26th.
