EA Sports FC 24 is here and career modes are now in full swing. Starting a save you always have players in mind of who to sign, here is some inspiration.

For ultimate edition purchasers, EA Sports FC 24 has been released with Playstation and Xbox players getting their teeth into career mode. There are some new features in the game, but signing players is always one of the most exciting things to do. Once you have decided on your team, who you sign is what makes you different and unique. If you need some ideas here are some high-potential options.

1. Giorgi Mamardashvili (Goalkeeper)

The Valencia and Georgia goalkeeper is just 22 years old which for a goalkeeper is very young considering their longevity season after season.

Despite his value sitting upwards of £20 million, if your team is in need of a goalkeeper, young and high-potential options don’t come much better in this year’s career mode.

If you are starting with a mid-table team or higher then he probably is within your reach and would be an ideal choice. He also has a real face in the game which is always a bonus.

2. Piero Hincapie (Centre Back)

A defender for Bayer Leverkusen, the Ecuador international is one of the best options for his position, in career mode this year.

Although he may cost upwards of £30 million to acquire, you wouldn’t be needing another defender for the rest of your save if you brought him in.

He’s quick, strong, and has the ability to play as a fullback if you ever need him to. He also has a real face in game and that is always an added bonus when bringing in a player.

3. Rayan Cherki (Centre Attacking Midfielder)

This man is one of the most exciting players in the game right now. With that being said, his starting value of just £12 million is a bargain.

The Lyon attacker comes with five-star skills and a weak foot as well as a potential upwards of 86, so he’s going to be a fun and exciting option for many seasons.

Despite not having a real face in the game, the ability that he possesses, and the way his stats will make him one of the best players in your career mode the longer you play, he is a no-brainer.

4. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens

An 18-year-old Englishman playing for Borussia Dortmund is an interesting story, but he is also a great player. Starting at 71 rated, he’ll grow very quickly.

Potentially starting as a squad option, he will become a first-team stalwart easily with his 86 potential. Match that with four-star skills, he is quality in career mode this year.

Likely to cost less than £10 million he appears to be another no-brainer and represents great value and an option for even smaller clubs.

5. Evan Ferguson (Striker)

If you watch the Premier League, you know all about this man and know how good he is. The Brighton and Hove Albion youngster is one of the best young strikers around.

He only starts a save at a 74 overall but with training and constant game time, that will increase in no time. With an 86 potential, he has the chance to be one of the better strikers in the game.

With a real face in game too he seems pretty ideal in career mode this year. This is only made better by his value, sitting around £10 million. Sign him if you need a striker, simple as.
