The early access and Xbox Game Pass release date for Forza Motorsport is quickly approaching. A leak has revealed exactly when the review embargo ends, and fans don’t need to wait too much longer for final impressions and verdicts to be delivered.
After Starfield, this is arguably the second biggest Xbox exclusive coming out this year. The Forza series is absolutely beloved by gamers, but it’s important to know that Forza Motorsport is drastically different from Horizon. For instance, the most recent Horizon takes place in a massive open-world set in Mexico, meanwhile, Forza Motorsport is restricted to race tracks and circuits. You will be able to enjoy it for free through Xbox Game Pass, or you can get early access if reviews get you extremely excited.
When does the Forza Motorsport review embargo end?
The leaked end date for the Forza Motorsport review embargo is October 4th, according to the leak.
This leak comes courtesy of neogaf user, Elder Legend. They previously, and accurately leaked review embargo details for The Crew Motorfest.
Per Elder Legend, they uploaded a screenshot of the title menu as proof. They are also reviewing the PC ‘on an RTX 4090, 7950X and 64 GB DDR5 Ram pc rig’.
There is lots of hype surrounding the upcoming racing game. Everyone hopes it will exceed expectations, but, even before reviews are out, it is already established as the biggest day-one release for Xbox Game Pass in October 2023.
Forza Motorsport early access and Game Pass release date
The early access release date for Forza Motorsport is October 5th.
To get early access you must buy the Premium edition. Below is the price and everything it packs (via the Microsoft store):

If you don’t want to pay the full price and are a Game Pass subscriber, you can buy the Premium add-on bundle for £26.99. This will bag you early access along with all of the above if you are a Game Pass member, but you will not own the game if you ever cancel your subscription.
If you’d rather not spend any cash at all, then Forza Motorsport will join Xbox Game Pass for free on October 10th.
