Twitch streamer IShowSpeed was up to his usual hijinx at the Ballo d’Or ceremony last night.
The Ballon d’Or is usually a time to celebrate some of the world’s best soccer players, that we all know and love from popular video games like EA Sports FC and Football Manager.
It was one of the greatest of all time who took home the most coveted award of the Ballon d’Or – Lionel Messi.
But as we know, popular Twitch streamer IShowSpeed detested this prospect and ended up causing chaos at the ceremony instead.

Speed’s viral clip this time will certainly be him going absolutely mental when he finds out it wasn’t in fact Cristiano Ronaldo who won the award – but Messi.
He proceeded to cry, bark and shout as the Argentine went to scoop up the trophy – even unknowingly starting a standing ovation in the process.
But those weren’t all he got up to, his interactions with other famous footballers were all borderline hilarious.
He met a number of superstars including Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Eden Hazard, Vinicius Jr and Novak Djokovic – who convinced him he didn’t in fact play tennis, but football, for AC Milan. Yes – that happened.
He also met Manchester City duo Bernardo Silva and Ruben Dias, whom he tried to convince that he was Portuguese. Why not?

IShowSpeed may not be invited again…
Speed documented the full thing on a live stream, where his hilarious antics were there for all to see.
But many weren’t happy, suggesting the popular streamer made a joke of the prestigious awards.
‘I don’t think Speed is ever getting invited to these awards again,’ one writes.
We’re not so sure. He certainly brought more of a younger audience to the awards, this is just the way of the world now.
Plus, it was entertaining. Never change, Speed.
