The Crew Motorfest is now available to play in early access format or fans can instead wait for a five-hour free trial. Not only that but fans unsure about this year’s installment can also wait for reviews following the conclusion of the embargo.
Best compared to the Forza Horizon series, The Crew Motorfest is an open-world epic where you get to drive the most beautiful cars around the stunning locale of Hawaii. It’s the third installment in the series, and everything is absolutely breathtaking from the staggering amount of detail for every car to the stunning sights that immerse players in a different country without needing to go on holiday. However, it is a Ubisoft game, so it’s only natural that a large portion of gamers are cautious about buying.
When does The Crew Motorfest review embargo end?
Leaks suggest The Crew Motorfest review embargo has already ended.
In fact, these leaks suggest there is no review embargo and that critics were only just given copies of the game. This comes courtesy of Neogaf where user Elder Legend claims they were given a code for Xbox and PlayStation.
Unfortunately, fully-fledged reviews may not come out before launch. According to Elder Legend, they installed the game but servers weren’t live until September 11th. This means they were unable to play and have only just been able to start their adventure with the early-access community.
The full release date for The Crew Motorfest is September 14th. This means reviewers only have a couple of days turnaround to get final impressions out before launch. Because of this, it’s highly possible many final verdicts will not be out until post-launch.

How to get The Crew Motofest free trial
The Crew Motorfest free trial is available for everyone from September 14th to the 17th.
Although the free trial is open for three days, the duration is only five hours long. This should be enough time to explore the island of O’ahu in a snazzy car and decide whether you wish to purchase the full experience.
All you need to do to get the free trial is download it from the PSN, Microsoft, Steam, or Epic Games store. It’s not available to download as of writing, but it will be ready to install on September 14th.
