The Champions Weekend League is back in EA Sports FC 24 but with some tweaks, here is everything you need to know.
With EA Sports FC 24 set for full release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, players are going to begin creating their Ultimate Team. The new game has been on early access for those with the Ultimate Edition or on EA Play’s Trial. The most anticipated game mode is always Champions as players look to complete their 20 games and see how high up the ranks they can get. With that being said, how is it working this year?
Qualification and Play-Offs
Everybody’s Champions journey will start with gathering points through Division Rivals. Once you have collated 1,500 points you can purchase entry into the Champions Play-Offs.
After redeeming your points, you now have to play up to 10 games and attempt to get enough wins to earn your place in the Weekend League. This isn’t all you get as you will receive some tradable rewards depending on where you finish.

20 points, or four wins and four losses, is the minimum amount you need to gain qualification to the next round. Once you have got to that marker, you can quit and gain qualification and Rank V rewards or continue and aim for better rewards.
Finals
It has been confirmed that the first Weekend League will begin on 6 October, providing all new players a week to create and improve their teams before the contest begins.
In the Finals, you have three days to complete 20 matches and aim to win as many matches as you possibly can, in order to get the best rewards.
The average EA FC 24 player will likely get either 45 or 51 points across the weekend which do provide some great rewards for casual players.
Rewards
The big change this year is that there are no red-inform player picks. Instead, the rewards are likely to change in line with the power curve in the game. There have been calls for promotional players to be added to these picks, but right now there are no guarantees.

With no reds, players will see the edition of 84+ player picks, 85+ player packs, and an improvement in the packs you receive, compared to other years.
With coins also added to rewards, and the recoup of your qualification points there are other added sweeteners to make the Weekend League worthwhile.
