This comes with the need for formations, tactics, and instructions which can be the make or break between winning and losing. With 30+ formations in the game, which should you choose to give you the best chance?
4-3-3 (4) Formation
This formation feels like It gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to attacking output and a solid defense.
It is definitely a style for those who wish to score more goals given the fact there are two wingers and a center-attacking midfielder. With instructions, this can be made better.
With your full backs on ‘stay back while attacking’ and one of your two central midfielders being more defensive-minded, this formation will work a treat.
4-2-3-1 Formation
This is similar to the previous formation but will allow for different types of players to be played due to the positional differences.
This one has two central defensive and three attacking midfielders which allows for an ideal mix of players compared to others.
Because of the center-attacking midfielder positions, this formation doesn’t allow for wingers if you start this formation. This can be used by changing in game, however.
4-4-2 (2) Formation
This formation almost combines the previous two into one, minus the attacking midfielder.
With two defensive and two wide midfielders, there is plenty of defensive stability for any players to take advantage of.
