Another week, another set of players have been released through Squad Building Challenges in EA Sports FC 24. The question is should you complete them?
With EA Sports FC 24 out on PlayStation and Xbox for many weeks now, Ultimate Team is well underway and players’ teams are getting better already. The option is always there to do SBCs to earn players and improve your team. With that being said let’s take a look at the Squad Building Challenges players that have been released this week and whether they are worth it.
1. Jonathan David (RTTK)
Requirements:
- 85-rated squad
- 86-rated squad with 1 Ligue 1 player
- 86-rated squad
Obviously, this card is great. He basically has all the stats that you would want from a striker. The issue is, unless you have a full Ligue 1 team, he will be difficult to link. The Canadian comes in at a high price and with his lack of links, he is a risk.
COST: 172,000
VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT

2. Diego Carlos (RTTK)
Requirements:
- 85-rated squad with 1 Brazilian player
- 85-rated squad with 1 Premier League player
- 86-rated squad
Contrastingly to David, Carlos has plenty of great links to offer. He hasn’t got the greatest stats given the high price he comes in at. Given that he is very likely to get at least a plus one, if not two, on his card, it may become better. His high price may be an issue for most players, however.
COST: 142,000
VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT
3. Steven Bergwijn (RTTK)
Requirements:
- 83-rated squad with 1 inform
- 84-rated squad
Now for a cheaper option. Bergwijn has great pace and dribbling stats which may only get better if they advance to the next round. His links are ok, Dutch links could prove to be useful, but without more special cards, Eredivisie links are kind of scarce.
COST: 31,000
VERDICT: WORTH IT
4. Jeffinho & Caio Henrique (Dynamic Duos)
Requirements:
- 84-rated squad with 1 inform, 1 Brazilian player, 1 86+ player
- 84-rated squad with 1 inform, 1 Ligue 1 player, 1 86+ player
These two don’t necessarily come as a pair, even if the Squad Building Challenges is called Duos, but provide great links to each other. Henrique is a very good left-back and will likely last the test of time for large portions of the game cycle. Jeffinho is a fun card and with a chemistry style to help his shooting, he is a great card.
COST: 58,000
VERDICT: WORTH IT
5. Hector Bellerin (RTTK)
Requirements:
- 84-rated squad with 1 LaLiga player, 1 inform
The final card on this list is a cheap right-back option. With great pace, dribbling, defending and chemistry links. If you have a LaLiga contingent in your team then this man could be ideal. Coming in at a cheap price and with a potential upgrade, he is a great option.
COST: 26,000
