Another week, another set of players was released through Squad Building Challenge in EA Sports FC 24. Are they worth completing?
With EA Sports FC 24 being out on PlayStation and Xbox now, players have been creating their Ultimate Teams. Packing players and buying them off the transfer market is one way to go, but there is always the option to do SBCs to earn players. These require you to complete a set of criteria and submit a team. Are the players released so far worth completing?
1. Leroy Fer (Squad Foundations)
Requirements:
- 84-rated squad with 1 86+ player
This man has a great, well-rounded card but is let down by the links he can get. Although Dutch is useful, Super Lig links will only get worse, as the game cycle moves forward. Good card, poor links.

2. Francis Coquelin (EUL RTTK)
Requirements:
- 84-rated squad with 1 French player
- 85-rated squad with 1 La Liga player
Another well-rounded card but this time with much better links on the whole. As a defensive midfielder, this guy could come in handy. But with an opening game loss, who knows how well Villareal will do in terms of upgrades.
COST: 46,500
VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT
3. Andre Silva (UCL RTTK)
Requirements:
- 82-rated squad with 1 Real Sociedad player
- 83-rated squad with 1 Portuguese player
- 84-rated squad with 1 La Liga player & 1 87+ player
A striker this time and his 86 shooting and 87 dribbling jump off the page straight away. With that being said his lake of pace could be a concern, although agility and balance is good. Not sure how good he would be in game.

VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT
4. Mohammed Kudus (UEL RTTK)
Requirements:
- 85-rated squad with 1 Premier League player
- 86-rated squad
With 92 pace and 88 dribbling, this is a very ‘sweaty’ card. Kudus will appeal to a lot of people due to those stats and his Premier League links. With that being said there are similar cards to be bought on the market for much less coin value.
COST: 95,000
VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT
5. Bruno Guimaraes (UCL RTTK)
Requirements:
- 85-rated squad with 1 Brazilian player
- 86-rated squad with 1 Premier League player
- 86-rated squad
- 87-rated squad
Another great midfielder card to add to this list. This Bruno card comes with great league and nation links as well as some well-rounded stats. An ideal central midfielder card. But, with four very expensive squads to complete, he is out of reach of many players.
