The release date and time for Assassin’s Creed Mirage is only a couple of days away. However, if you’re on Xbox, you have the luxury of getting early access by performing the simple New Zealand trick.
This is the newest installment in the Assassin’s Creed series following on from the quite divisive Valhalla. The review embargo hasn’t lifted as of writing, but there is cautious excitement among the series’ most hardcore fans. Rather than another open-world RPG in the same vein as The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is more similar to the series’ beloved trilogy starring Ezio. The focus returns to stealth and assassinations, and it is possible to get early access if you are on Xbox.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage New Zealand release time
The New Zealand release time for Assassin’s Creed Mirage is 00:00 NZDT on October 5th.
This is according to the Microsoft store. Per the Xbox store, the game is releasing local time at midnight in most regions rather than simultaneously across the globe.
A local midnight release is also supported by the PSN store. However, Ubisoft hasn’t announced anything official on their social platforms as of writing.
Provided the Microsoft store is correct, then the common New Zealand trick will work for the newest Assassin’s Creed adventure.
How to get early access to Assassin’s Creed Mirage
You can get one-day early access to Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Xbox by pulling off the New Zealand trick.
The New Zealand release time should translate to 04:00 PDT, 07:00 EST, and 12:00 BST on October 4th. Once these hours have passed, simply follow the below steps:
- Select Settings
- Click System
- Proceed to Language and Location
- Change Location to New Zealand
- Reset Xbox console
Of course, in order for the above to work, you also need to pre-order and preload. Aside from Xbox, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming to PlayStation and PC.
