The release date and start time for the XDefiant public test beta on PC is nearly here for PDT, EST, and UK BST. Before its launch, make sure to preload so you can play the very second it begins.
XDefiant is massively exciting because many have hyped it up as Ubisoft’s answer to Call of Duty. It was intended to be released near the beginning of September, but it unfortunately failed PlayStation and Xbox certification. This is a bump in the road rather than anything massively serious, yet it has delayed the game’s launch. We still don’t have an answer for when the game is fully coming out, but the release date and start time for a new, and very short, PC public test beta is right around the corner.
What time does the XDefiant public test beta on PC start?
The release date and start time for the XDefiant public test beta on PC is 12:00 PDT, 15:00 EST, and 20:00 BST for the UK on September 28th.
Unfortunately, it is very, very short. Ubisoft’s public test session announcement reveals that the PC exclusive beta ends at 18:00 PDT and 21:00 EST on September 28th, as well as 02:00 BST for the UK on September 29th.
Of course, this means the trial is only a few hours long. It’s disappointing, but at least we’re getting to play at all.
Although this demo is exclusive to PC, the full release will be available on PlayStation and Xbox.
How to preload XDefiant public test beta
You can preload the XDefiant public test beta right now if you already played any previous demos on PC.
If you played other trials on PlayStation or Xbox, you can still get the upcoming playtest by registering online. You will need to play through Ubisoft Connect, though.
Once you have downloaded Ubisoft Connect and have logged into your Ubi account, you should find XDefiant in your library. Simply download the public test from there.
Again, there’s still no release date for the full version as of writing, but here’s hoping it isn’t too far away.
