There will be new Overwatch League teams coming!
According to a report from ESPN, the Overwatch League will be getting two new teams ahead of Season 2.
The inaugural Overwatch League finished this weekend, with London Spitfire crushing Philadelphia Fusion only dropping one map in the process.
Currently, there are 12 teams in the league. However, with only two Asian teams and one European team, it looks like the league is now expanding into new markets.

Sources told ESPN that Paris and Guangzhou will be the next teams to enter the league. The Paris side will be owned by Los Angles-based company McCourt Global who currently own French football team, Olympic Marseille. The Guangzhou side is expected to be owned by Chinese billionaire Zhong Naixiong.
A new franchise for Season 2 reportedly set to cost between $30m and $60m, according to the Daily Mail. However, the price will ultimately be determined by certain factors including; the number of bidders, city population and Overwatch player density.
As the original spots in the league sold for $20M, there is clear evidence that the first season was an enormous success. Furthermore, the league pulled in more than $200 million worth of advertising, with the likes of T-Mobile, Toyota and Intel.
