A month into EA Sports FC 24 and another set of players have been released through Squad Building Challenges. The question is should you complete them?
Now that EA Sports FC 24 has been out on PlayStation and Xbox for a while now, users have all got good Ultimate Teams by now. As always an SBC provides a chance to earn players in order to improve your team even further. With that being said, as we do every week, let’s take a look at the players that have been released and if they are worth it.
1. Rodrygo (Trailblazers)
Requirements:
- 84-rated squad with an inform
- 86-rated squad with a La Liga player
- 87-rated squad
- 88-rated squad
This is a great card, there’s no hiding away from that. With that being said he is very expensive and will be unattainable for most players. The Real Madrid man has great links and if you can afford him you should do it. For the average player, it’s too expensive an SBC.
COST: 495,000
VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT
2. Declan Rice (Trailblazers)
Requirements:
- 85-rated squad with an inform
- 86-rated squad with a Premier League player
Rice has great links and is one of few great defensive midfielders in the Premier League on the game. He isn’t anything special and considering his normal card is well below 10,000 coins, he is overpriced. If you need a defensive midfielder and have SBC fodder, he could be your man.
COST: 135,000
VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT
3. Kevin Trapp (Trailblazers)
Requirements:
- 83-rated squad with an inform
Sorry to say, but, this is one of the most boring SBC cards ever. Considering the number of Bundesliga goalkeepers that you can buy quite cheap on the market, this is odd. If you need a German goalkeeper then he is easy to complete and probably worth it.
COST: 18,000
VERDICT: WORTH IT
4. Eugenie Le Sommer (Trailblazers)
Requirements:
- 83-rated squad with an inform
A different card than usual that could be fun to use. Le Sommer’s SBC is very cheap for an 86-rated striker given her weak foot and skill moves. She has great shooting and dribbling, give her a hunter chemistry style and she’ll be good.
COST: 18,000
VERDICT: WORTH IT
5. Ismaila Sarr (Trailblazers)
Requirements:
- 85-rated squad with an inform
This SBC is very fun. Sarr has amazing pace and good shooting and dribbling to pair with that. His price is a sticking point though given Jeffinho was released last week for much cheaper. If you have the fodder and want a super sub, he could be your man.
COST: 54,000
VERDICT: NOT WORTH IT
