EA Sports FC 24 will be getting the first promotional event of the year this Friday – and it’s apparently a clear favorite amongst fans.
EA appears not to be delving too far away from their previous ‘FIFA’ titles in this all-new venture on Playstation, Xbox, and PC. All the beloved modes are the same, same TOTW process and packs galore. There are also lots of new features on EA Sports FC 24, as with any new title – including new Icons, women in Ultimate Team and so much more. However, sometimes – you can’t beat the classics, which appears to be the strategy EA is heading in regarding promotional events.
Road to the Knockout (RTTK) apparently coming this Friday
A fan favorite of a promotional event – Road to the Knockout is apparently coming this Friday!
This is according to a reliable FIFA source in Donk Trading.
RTTK is a fan favorite for a firm reason – dynamic cards. This means that cards will change based on real-life performances, making the concept of what some players could become a really exciting prospect.
What is RTTK and how does it work?
Road to the Knockout cards are dynamic player items that are associated with the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League competitions.
So how does it work? Well, taken from EA’s website for the FIFA 23 promo – it’s a little like this:
Each Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) player item has the potential for two further upgrades based on how their team performs throughout the remainder of the Group Stages.
An RTTK item will receive a “wins upgrade” if their club gets two victories from their remaining Group Stage games and will receive a “qualification upgrade” if their team qualifies for the Knockout Stages of their current competition
