WoW celebrates its 16th anniversary in November, and to celebrate, players can look forward to rewards, experience boosts, and returning bosses and quests.

As is tradition by this point, WoW will be dishing out a percentage boost in XP and reputation for every year the game has been running, meaning that until November 22nd, all players will receive 16% extra experience points for everything they do in-game for one hour once they’ve activated their bonus.

The game also sees the return of several classic bosses and quests, giving players an excellent opportunity to grind for loot and experience.

What new events are avaialble for WoW’s 16th anniversary?

There are plenty of events to keep you busy during WoW’s anniversary beyond the initial rewards. The Anniversary Gift Package contains a letter from the Timewalkers which will point you towards a brand new quest in either Orgrimmar or Stormwind. Speaking to Historian Llore and Historian Ju’pa daily will also provide new quests each day which can help earn even more Timewarped Badges.

In addition, several classic bosses and quests are returning. Korrak’s Revenge is returning, although some players report that it doesn’t provide quite as much loot as before. Lord Kazzak, Azuregos, and the Dragons of Nightmare can be faced once each day, and will drop 50 Timewarped Badges apiece.

While all of these anniversary events will remain until November 22nd, players can also enjoy the return of the Darkmoon Faire until November 8th, which will give another 10% experience and reputation bonus. Now is a good time to grind in WoW to take advantage of the anniversary rewards.
