A new image on the official Japanese “Persona 5 S” website hints at a potential Super Smash Bros Ultimate Joker release date.
We now know that a remake for Persona 5 is on the horizon in Persona 5 R: The Royal. However, Atlus also registered the domain P5S.jp. Naturally, this suggests there will also be a Persona 5 Switch.
The website hints at more info to come on Thursday, April 25th. Could this be the Smash Bros Ultimate Joker release date we’ve all been waiting for?

When is Super Smash Bros Ultimate Joker release date – April 25th?
The announcement for Persona 5 protagonist Joker in Super Smash Bros Ultimate came all the way back in the Game Awards 2018.
Despite no official release date for Joker, there are now some strong hints. Persona 5 R: The Royal was revealed by a teaser trailer earlier this month. At the end of the video, it states more info would come on April 24th.
Atlus has also had the domain P5S.jp for a long time. This suggests that Persona 5 Switch is coming alongside Persona 5 R: The Royal. Whether it’ll be a port of the original game or the brand new game is yet to be seen.
P5S.jp has an image which promises more information on April 25th. It seems that this will be when we get the reveal of Persona 5 Switch, if not even a full release of the port.
Persona Super Live 2019 Concert – Joker announcement?
It’s important to note that April 24 – 25 are the dates of the Persona Super Live 2019 Concert in Japan. This is an official event from Atlus which will have announcements for the game.
It seems extremely likely one of these dates will also carry the launch of the Smash Bros Ultimate Joker update. It’s not a surefire confirmation, but what better time to make for the Smash Bros Ultimate Joker release date?
