Of course, it’s important to remember that even though there are certain weapon metas in the game, everybody will have a different play style. A loadout option that may work for many others in Warzone, might not necessarily suit your personal style.

Previous Warzone Weapon Meta

On April 6, a brand new patch was released for Warzone. Included in the latest patch was weapon nerfs to the AUG Tactical Rifle from Cold War and the FFAR Assault Rifle.

Before the nerfs, Warzone was dominated with the following classes.

AUG

  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel: 18.2″ Strike Team
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd Drum
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x

FFAR

  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel: 20.3″ Takedown
  • Underbarrel: SFOD Speed Grip
  • Ammunition: Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag
  • Stock: Raider Stock

MAC 10

  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel: 5.9″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum
  • Stock: No Stock

These were the 3 weapons dominating the whole of Verdansk before the latest Warzone patch was released on April 6. There were various other weapons being abused such as the Kar98k rifle, which still remains a popular choice to date.

Latest Warzone Weapon Meta (April 2021)

So, what’s the weapon meta for April of 2021?

Many players have reverted back to the classic CR-65 AMAX which is still capable of taking down fully armoured enemies with a few shots thanks to the high damage and long-range.

Others have moved towards the M16 Three Round Burst Assault Rifle as an alternative option to the AUG Tactical Rifle.

Weapons such as the MAC-10 and Kar98k are also still extremely viable options for Warzone. Here’s a list of the latest weapons and attachments that are popular in Warzone right now.

  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd

CR-56 AMAX

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
  • Optic: VLK 3.0 Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags

KAR98K

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6”
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: Sniper Scope
  • Rear Grip: STVOL Precision Comb

These are the three weapons currently taking over Warzone in April of 2021, but of course, it’s important to take into account your own personal play style before using these classes.

The MAC-10 and FFAR are also still popular among players, even after the FFAR was nerfed it is still a perfectly viable option to use in Warzone.
