Arsenal icon, Thierry Henry has reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s rating in EA Sports FC 24 and didn’t believe what he saw.
EA Sports FC 24 has been out on PlayStation and Xbox for many weeks now and when starting a new game, players look through the new ratings to see any changes from the previous year. This time round fans were shocked to see former Manchester United, and current Al Nassr star, Ronaldo’s rating lower than it ever has been before.
What is Cristiano Ronaldo’s EA Sports FC 24 rating?
In years gone by, Ronaldo has been one of, if not the best player in the game. Whether he was at Manchester United, Juventus, or Real Madrid, he was always a dream player for Ultimate Team players to pack and use.
His current card is a far cry from what it once was. Having just one stat over 85 used to be unimaginable, especially seeing his dribbling drop to 80.
With 77 pace, 75 passing, and 74 physical, his stats don’t exactly jump off the page.
With that being said, his five-star skill moves and four-star weak foot bring him up to a potentially useful player. Although with Portuguese and Saudi Pro League links, he could be difficult to build into a team.
What has Thierry Henry said about Cristiano Ronaldo?
Speaking in an interview, ahead of the full release of the game, Henry was looking at various different FC 24 cards. It was Ronaldo that he took exception to.
Looking at the stats on his card, the French forward couldn’t work out who it was. When he was shown Ronaldo’s face, he couldn’t believe it.
Immediately after seeing him, Henry said: “No, that’s not him.”
He continued on to say: “Wow, that’s bad.”
It is a sad fall from grace for Ronaldo who at one time was the best card in the game. He is now nothing more than SBC fodder.
