So, can you use the Shockwave Grenade to destroy the Fortnite cube?
The latest item to be added to Fortnite is set to be released today; the Shockwave Grenade. While you might think that at first, the grenade sounds a lot like the Impulse, you’d be wrong.
It looks like the Shockwave Grenade is going to be a little more lethal than the impulse, with it giving off a massive explosion. In fact, data-miners found audio files in the game last week that showed the explosions would be pretty ear-shattering.

The new item comes with the latest patch to the game, v5.31 and we’re likely to get a new LTM added as well.
How will it differ to the Impulse?
Well, we know that it will be Epic rarity so likely will be much, much more powerful. Unlike the Impulse, it does no damage to the user and negates fall damage as well. This should make it a potent tool, but we’re guessing players could get out of its range or even use a rift-to-go to get away.

Where to find them?
Usual places, chests, llamas, and air drops. You’re likely to find them more in air-drops and chests though.
What else can it do?
Well, I’m going out on a limb here and saying that I reckon it could move or help destroy the massive cube. The cube appeared late last week, and while it is moving on its own accord, it also seems impossible to kill.
Interestingly, if you throw an Impulse grenade at it, it doesn’t attack back. So, maybe the Shockwave Grande will do damage or at least move it along a bit.
