Controversial YouTube, Keemstar, has revealed that he has been forced to change the date of his Thursday Realm Royale tournament.

Just a week after he was forced to cancel his Friday Fortnite competition, he took to Twitter to reveal that streamers had been doubled booked; missing his event.

The event is now scheduled to take place next Thursday, August 2nd, and is likely to feature big names again such as Shroud, Ninja and Summit1g. Thankfully though, if you are looking for some Realm Royale esports, then Hi-Rez are still running their weekly tournament with some of the best players around.

No Thursday Fun

You can now sign up to the Xbox and PS4 Realm Royale closed beta

However, there were problems with that tournament, with the developers being forced to push it back a day following a new patch for the game. As to why a developer would release a massive patch that changes the meta right before they have a self-organised event is a little beyond us.

We will be looking forward to seeing what some of the best Realm and Paladins players can do in the tournament which will be live on the Realm Royale Twitch channel.

If you’re interested in the game and on a console, don’t forget to sign up to the console closed beta.
