Are you wondering how to play Fortnite Playground? Well, we’ve got you covered, buddy!
Have you ever wanted to play Fortnite without worrying about actually getting in a fight with someone? Well, you’ll be able to just that this week, and much more, as the Playground Limited Time Mode comes to the game.
It has been rumoured for several weeks now that we will be getting a game mode that you can; enjoy with your friends, figure out specific mechanics, or just mess about. Being able to get unlimited materials, you can build giant structures; think a much better looking Minecraft.
Build Me Up, Epic Games
Ahead of the release, following this Tuesday’s patch, Epic Games told all on their blog about what the Playground will involve:
The Playground LTM will load you into the Battle Royale Map with some adjusted settings.”
Battle and build to your heart’s content with an extended period to roam around the map as well as increased resource generation. All treasure chests and ammo crates will be spawned, try droppin’ in different spots and scope out the loot. Friendly fire is on so you can scrimmage with your squad (up to 4 friends per match), but fear not you’ll respawn immediately.”
Not only will this allow players to get creative with their building but newer players get a great chance; understanding how to build and edit at a slower pace. It also allows for some scrimmages amongst mates!
This has huge implications for competitive Fortnite teams and any friends who want to determine who carries their team.
While being able to figure out who the best is, we’re really looking forward to what some players can do with the private space and the replay feature.
In the past, we have seen people struggle for several days trying to complete something like the ‘This is Fortnite’ video.
