Goal have signed Graham ‘GrayzaGoal’ McIntyre from Scottish professional football team Hibernian FC to represent the world’s biggest football website at future FIFA tournaments and act as a content creator for their social platforms.
The FIFA player had been previously representing Hibs in various competitions, however, since jumping ship, has been competing for Goal in the highly coveted Sportego FIFA eLeague.
The competition, which has a prize pool of $10,000, is invitation only and features players from teams such as Ajax, Manchester City and West Ham.
The tournament kicked off on January 11th and is closely based on the Champions League format with 8 groups of 4 competing for the top two spots to progress to the knock-out stage of the competition.
Hibs, who were also invited to compete in Sportego’s tournament, were in a group up against Gronigen, exceL and Stuttgart, whilst GrayzaGoal’s new team faced up to VVV Venlo, Crusaders and AS Roma.
Like most others, the tournament can be watched on streams available on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.

Goal’s new recruit performed remarkably well in the group stage, taking the rest of the teams by storm to claim top spot with 2 wins a 1 loss.
McIntyre will now face up against LewisH90 of ForF1FA Sake, who finished second in Group H behind Proownezyt of Stark eSports.
With the competition beginning to hot-up with the arrival of the knock-out stage, the highly anticipated final is happen in April and will take place in a major football stadium, however, the specific venue is yet to be revealed.
