Still wondering when does Fortnite Season 5 start? Read on for the details.

This might be the biggest Season for the ultra-popular Battle Royale title, as it continues to take the world by storm. Unlike previous seasons, Epic Games have done an incredible job of keeping things under wraps; not revealing too many secrets as to what is happening in Season 5.

When does Season 4 End?

Interestingly, Epic allowed for Season 4 to be extended for two more days, and will now finish on Wednesday, July 11th – likely at midnight.

When does Season 5 start?

Epic employee MrPopoTFS confirmed that it would start on Thursday, July 12th at 9 am BST. You will need to download an update that will implement all the new changes, so this could take a few minutes depending on your bandwidth.

How do I get the Battle Pass and how much is it?

It will cost you 900 VBucks, which is about £7.

If you kept all the VBucks that you unlocked throughout Season 4, then you will have precisely enough to carry on to the new one.

What will I get?

While we don’t know what exactly, we can say you will get at least seven skins, multiple VBuck unlocks, and various dances and emotes. There will also be at least two gliders, and a pickaxe as well.

Is it worth it?

It all depends on if you like skins or not. The way I justify it is you only really pay for it once and all the VBucks you collect throughout the season pay for the next battle pass. I’ve done this since Season 2 when the battle pass added VBucks, and it has been an excellent way to keep the game fun.

What is Season 5’s theme?

It is looking more and more likely that it will be history themed. Many believed that it will set in the Wild West, with various items such as carriages and bull skulls coming through the portals in the current map.

However, there are also theories that it will be more of a Roman or Ancient Greek setting. The likelihood is that the map will be very different and combine both of those elements.

We cannot wait for the Fortnite Season 5 start!
