EA Sports FC 24 has an all-new pack animation… best believe you’re going to want to know when you’ve got a walkout.
One of the most exciting parts of what was the FIFA Ultimate Team franchise is definitely opening packs. The anticipation turned to exhilaration when packing one of your favorite players is up there with some of the best feelings in gaming.
Now, EA have a new venture of EA Sports FC 24 – but the ever-present cash cow of Ultimate Team remains, meaning packs are well and truly back baby.
A new pack animation means new telltale signs as to whether you’ll have packed a good player. We’ll explain all below.
EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team Pack Animation
Here is the new pack animation in all of its glory.
The new animation has an epic new feature, which means that you can obtain a double walkout.
A double walkout means that if you have two high-rated players in the same pack, they’ll both appear on your screen – with an animation of the two interacting together.
This can be seen above, with Erling Haaland and Son Heung-Min linking up in the pack.
What is a walkout?
A walkout in EA Sports FC 24 is a high-value player who will ‘walk out’ when you’ve opened your pack. Walkouts for base cards are rated 86+ and for special cards are 84+.
How to tell if you’ve got a walkout
This year is completely different and quite difficult to tell.
Basically, if you look at the strips on the top right panel as the player’s position is being revealed, if these shine very brightly – you’re in luck.
