Dead By Daylight is set to receive one more episode before the end of the year. BeHaviour Interactive has announced very little about Chapter 30, but online sleuths are sure they already know the identity of the next DBD killer.
It’s been a decent year for Dead By Daylight. As of writing, we are currently in the middle of Chapter 29 which stars the Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley from the iconic sci-fi horror movie, Alien. While the collaboration with Alien is lots of fun, fans are naturally looking ahead to DBD Chapter 30. There are only a few official details about the next mysterious killer, but these titbits have resulted in plenty of speculation online.
DBD Chapter 30 killer
All we officially know about the Dead By Daylight Chapter 30 killer is that it’s solo and licensed.
We also know that Chapter 30 is a Paragraph. This means the killer arrives without a survivor and playable map.
Confirmation of all the above comes courtesy of the DBD year 8 roadmap. This roadmap also confirms that Chapter 30 will land in November after Tome 17 and the in-game Halloween event.
It’s disappointing that there’s no survivor or new map, but the licensed aspect has fans very excited.
Dead By Daylight Chapter 30 killer predictions
There are plenty of wants and predictions online about the possible Dead By Daylight Chapter 30 killer.
Over on the BeHaviour forums, fans have been discussing what they want to see. A recurring idea is the Nun from The Conjuring 2.
Other popular names mentioned include the redheaded killer doll from Child’s Play, Chucky, as well as Pennywise from IT. Both of these characters would work as solo killers as a licensed survivor isn’t as imperative as Ellen Ripley to the Xenomorph.
Fans also continue to desire Springtrap from Five Nights At Freddy’s. FNAF would make sense as a solo killer because, again, there is no iconic survivor. A collaboration with FNAF has been wanted for many years, and there is a movie coming out in late October, so perhaps the odds have never been better.
Fans are certain they know the DBD Chapter 30 killer
Away from baseless predictions and wants, some fans are certain they know the identity of the DBD Chapter 30 killer.
There are no leaks as of writing, but many fans are convinced that the killer will be the Predator. Many fans on Reddit are adamant it is bound to happen because the Predator shares the same universe as Alien.
There are wild conspiracies online that the DBD Chapter 27 killer was initially intended to be the Predator, but was changed late in development to the original Skull Merchant. However, this is nothing more than a conspiracy theory with zero evidence.
Fans are also convinced it is Predator because it is owned by 20th Century Fox just like Alien. In addition, they have also collaborated on other video games at the exact same time such as Fortnite and Mortal Kombat X.
Of course, the Predator is merely speculation as of writing. Confirmation about the next killer should be provided by BeHaviour Interactive sometime in October with a PTB exclusive to Steam.
