While most esports revolve around PC, there are still plenty of competitive online games for Xbox One. We previously covered some of the best PS4 esports games, but this time we’re looking at the top 10 best Xbox One esports games you can play and compete in.
1. Halo 5
Halo is Microsoft’s biggest exclusive game. The legendary competitive sci-fi shooter has a long-running esports scene with teams like OpTic Gaming and Counter Logic Gaming competing. But even if you’re just playing at home, platforms like MLG allow you to compete in leagues and ladders.
2. Gears Of War 4
Another exclusive Xbox esports game. The shooter is known for its fast-paced, brutal competitive online play, and it’s still played at a high level in tournaments like MLG and Gears Pro Circuit. If you want to compete online yourself, check out MLG.

3. FIFA 19
FIFA is one of the most accommodating esports. Even the biggest tournaments have competitions for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As such, the recently released FIFA 19 is a great competitive game for Xbox One players to get involved in. Get online with platforms like MLG or ESL Play and start scoring goals.
4. Call Of Duty
Unlike some multi-platform FPS esports, pro Call Of Duty is commonly played with controllers as opposed to mice and keyboards. Whether you’re looking for a battle royale, a tactical shooter or an all-out free-for-all deathmatch, Warface has it all in one completely free package. Warface for Xbox One was just recently released. Xbox Live members can download it and start competing on platforms like ESL Play.
The world-popular battle royale game is a multi-platform hit. One of the best things about Fortnite is it allows cross-platform play, meaning that even if you play on Xbox One you can squad up with your PS4 and PC playing buddies. Sites like Toornament even let you compete in cross-platform competitions.

The fast-paced, team-based shooter can also be played on consoles. Although it’s more popular on PC, you can still compete online on Xbox One- there are even leagues and ladders on MLG. Overwatch is one of the best Xbox One esports games available and a lot of fun to play.
10. Tekken 7
If you prefer a good, old-fashioned squabble up, you can play Tekken 7 on Xbox One. The iconic fighting game now features fighters such as Noctis from Final Fantasy XV and Negan from The Walking Dead! Although tournaments are usually played on PS4, any controller players will find it easy to adapt.
