The Final Super Smash Bros Ultimate Direct is now set for November 1st! The broadcast will last 40 minutes, and most likely reveal everything from the full Smash Bros Ultimate roster to the Smash Bros Ultimate Story Mode.

The news was Tweeted by Nintendo. Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of Smash Bros, also Tweeted confirming it’ll be the last broadcast. This gives huge credence to recent rumors that many new characters are coming and Nintendo Live 2018 will use the final version of Smash Bros Ultimate. Here’s more on what to expect.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Direct – What To Expect

With a whole 40 minutes of content, the final Super Smash Bros Ultimate Direct should tell us everything we need to know about the game.

The Final Smash Bros Ultimate Launch Roster should be shown. According to recent leaks of promotional art, this will include:

  • Banjo and Kazooie (Banjo-Kazooie, N64)
  • Geno (Super Mario RPG, SNES)
  • Mach Rider (Mach Rider, NES)
  • Isaac (Golden Sun, Game Boy Advance)
  • Chorus Kids (Rhythm Heaven, Nintendo DS)
  • Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog Series)
  • Ken (Street Fighter Series)

Smash Bros Ultimate Roster Leaks

You can read more about the latest Smash Bros leaks here. Although there were rumors for characters like Incineroar and Minecraft Steve, the promotional art leak is the most substantial yet.

The Super Smash Bros Ultimate Spirits Mode is also likely to feature. Sakurai hinted at a new secret mode all the way back in the August Smash Bros Direct. This may be similar to Smash Bros Brawl’s Subspace Emissary Mode, featuring bosses such as Dracula, Rathalos, and maybe even Skull Kid.

We should also see new Super Smash Bros Ultimate Stages. Past leaks suggest there will be 5 more to make it to the December release.

Expect to also hear about new music, Assist Trophies, Items, and game features.
