Sam “s0m” Oh will play for Swole Patrol in the CS:GO Minor Qualifier for IEM Katowice 2019. He replaces Brax (also known as swag), who’s unable to compete in Valve sponsored events due to a lifetime ban for match-fixing. S0m will compete alongside freakazoid and the rest of the team against teams such as Old Guys Club and NRG.

s0m in Swole Patrol for CS:GO Minor Qualifier
While Swole Patrol managed to qualify for the Americas Minor NA Closed Qualifier, Brax cannot play in the Minor. This is due to his lifetime ban for match-fixing in IBP. While he can still play CS:GO at a pro level, he’s unable to compete in official Valve events.
Swole Patrol turned to s0m, a CS:GO player known for his stint in Old Guys Club and FPL. He’ll join freakazoid, MarkE, Zellsis, and Ace to compete under the Swole Patrol banner.

Swole Patrol has gone through some ups and downs recently. Freakazoid’s own brother Cooper left Swole Patrol for eUnited. The team had to quickly find replacements.
eUnited will also compete in the same event, albeit they’ll be against s0m and freakazoid’s ex-teammates in Old Guys Club.
Teams in the NA CS:GO Minor Qualifier
The NA Closed Qualifiers are already shaping up to be a lot of fun. In addition to teams like NRG, Rogue, and Team Envy, there’s also the return of the 2015 Cloud9 team as OGC.
Skadoodle, shroud, seangares, n0thing, and Silent banded together to qualify as Old Guys Club in the CS:GO Minor. The team has been streaming their progress on Twitch to many nostalgic fans.

Shroud has even made jokes about bringing Dr Disrespect as a coach if they make it to IEM Katowice 2019 CS:GO Major. But the team will have some tough competition.
