Shroud lost $1000 bet live on Twitch!
Playing with your mates is always fun, but sometimes you need to spice it up a little.
However, sometimes you can get more than what you bargained; precisely what happened to former Cloud9 ace, and Twitch superstar, Shroud.
He was playing with his ex Cloud9 team-mate Jordan ‘n0thing’ Gilbert in their dream-team. The team consisted of former pros such as; Sean ‘seang@res’ Gares, Tomi ‘Lurppis’ Kovanen, and Robin ‘Fifflaren’ Johanssonas – who look to qualify for the ESEA open.
$1000 Challenge
During one of the rounds, he put a $1000 challenge out for Jordan ‘n0thing’ Gilbert to pull off a 2v1; brandishing just a Glock and nothing else (pun intended).
Jordan duly accepted, and although he only managed to pull off one kill, he was able to kill enough time to stop the enemy defusing the bomb; taking a cool grand off Shroud.
Whether or not he will actually get the money is unknown, but with Shroud reportedly making over $1million a year, we’re sure he can afford it. Shroud is one of the biggest PUBG streamers on Twitch, recently delving into H1Z1 and Fortnite tournaments.
We reckon he won’t be doing any more random bets any time soon; he clearly isn’t a very good gambler, is he?
