PUBG Team Deathmatch game mode is here!
Battle Royale game modes have taken the gaming world by storm over the past 18 months. Starting with H1Z1, then with PUBG and Fortnite following suit, Battle Royale games are now a multi-million dollar game type.
However, what happens when players get bored of the whole 100 to 1 and actually want to stay in a game for more than a few minutes? Well, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds are looking to venture out of the Battle Royale shadow to enter the world of team deathmatches.

Well, it is sort of a TDM mode, but BlueHole is calling it ‘War Mode’. The concept is basically the same though, with teams looking to reach a score limit of 80 with unlimited respawns. These points are gained through knocking people, killing people and getting assists.
This should certainly help with new players and save them from getting too frustrated while they get used to the mechanics of the game.
As you can imagine, there was plenty of excitement from players on Twitter.
Here are some of the best reactions to PUBG’s TDM mode.

Sadly though, this hasn’t entirely been made a full-blown game mode and at the moment is only available in custom games. Hopefully, if this does gain a substantial following form PUBG players, we should see it officially launched in the future.
