News for Mortal Kombat 11 this week has been non-stop, with multiple trailers for new characters coming out. Earlier this week, we got reveal trailers for the return of Noob Saibot, Shang Tsung, Jacqui Briggs, and Kotal Kahn. Now, a new Mortal Kombat 11 trailer confirms Jax, Kung Lao, and Liu Kang are in Mortal Kombat 11. Here’s more.

New Mortal Kombat 11 Trailer

Last night, Sony’s State of Play live stream revealed information and trailers for many new games coming to the PlayStation 4. It was all capped off with a new Mortal Kombat 11 trailer featuring many of the characters in battle.

The Old Skool vs. New Skool trailer reveals a lot about the game. It appears the story will revolve around time travel, with many players battling against old versions of themselves. This explains the presence of Geras- the new, time-bending Mortal Kombat 11 character.

The trailer also reveals more of the characters set to appear in the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. This includes Jax, Kung Lao, and Liu Kang.

Jax was seen along with daughter Jacqui Briggs facing off against an older version of himself. The new game appears to have a very 90s-meets-modern-day aesthetic which should carry throughout the story.
