While Skadoodle retires, the team have brought kioshima to Cloud9 for BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen. Kioshima will act as a stand-in while the team continues to look for a permanent fifth member.

It’s the latest in a long line of roster moves for Cloud9 in 2018. This year, the team has lost Stewie2k, tarik, FNS, and picked up Golden and STYKO as stand-ins. Now that Golden is their official IGL and flusha joined C9, the team will look for a solid 5th member after BLAST Pro Series to bring more stability to the roster.

Kioshima to Cloud9 for BLAST Pro Series

Cloud9 made the announcement today that French player Fabien ‘kioShiMa’ Fiey would play with the team for BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, starting November 2nd.

Kioshima played for the French Team Envy roster earlier this year with ScreaM, xms, hAdji, and SIXER. Since the team disbanded in June, he’s played temporarily in LeftOut, 3DMAX, and Epsilon.

Known in the past as a strong entry fragger and support player for the major-winning Team EnVyUs and subsequently FaZe Clan, kio should make a good stand-in for the C9 roster. What will happen next with his career is yet to be seen.

The move comes after Skadoodle’s retirement from professional CS:GO. Skadoodle was the AWPer for Cloud9 ever since joining in 2015. With him out of the team, autimatic will pick up the AWP role. Cloud9 will continue to look for a fifth member after BLAST Pro Series.
