The quickest way to get Chrom in Super Smash Bros Ultimate is to play Classic Mode 7 times. If you start as Yoshi, he’s the 7th character you’ll unlock.
This should take around 70 minutes or less depending on how fast you complete each Classic Mode run. You can also unlock Chrom in Smash Mode or World of Light, but these methods will usually take longer.
How To Unlock Chrom In Classic Mode
You can unlock Chrom in Classic Mode by playing 7 times, starting as Yoshi. The Smash Bros Ultimate character unlock order shows Chrom is the 8th character in Yoshi’s unlock chain.
