The simple premise around Head Ball and Head Ball 2 is easy to work out. You bounce about with a simple set of controls in a one on one match with your opponent. The aim of the game is to simply get the ball into the oppositions net as often as you can.
Along the way, you can look to collect and build up powers, improve your player, and so forth.
But the key to the game, essentially, is scoring more than the opposition. That’s why, then, it’s mighty handy to have a few quick tips on hand when it comes to outscoring your Head Balling foe.
Defence means scoring when it comes to Head Ball 2
Ever heard the old adage, ‘defence wins titles’?
Well, you might not have but it rings true in Head Ball 2. The trick to winning a game of Head Ball is by playing smart and effective defence.
This means no chasing the ball all game. No bouncing around needlessly. It also means no leaving things wide open so your opposite number has an easy route to goal.

Now, it might sound simple but there’s an art to it. Practice makes perfect as they say in all walks of life.
Get used to holding your ground in goal. Try and tempt the opponent into making the first move. The more you get them hopping around, the better your chances of winning in Head Ball 2.
Be patient
While there is a time limit on games, don’t let this fool you into rushing your gameplay.
Be patient in Head Ball 2. Let things happen, take stock of how your opponent is playing.
