How to Rematch Unlockable Characters in Smash Bros Ultimate
After you lose a Challenger battle in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, you’ll have to wait to get the chance to fight them again.
However, you won’t get the same challenge twice from Classic Mode or Smash Mode. You can rematch unlockable characters in Smash Bros Ultimate via the Challenger’s Approach Menu.
You’ll unlock this feature fairly early on in the game. You can find the Challenger’s Approach mode by going to Games and More and clicking on the doors in the bottom right corner.
From here, you’ll be able to replay previous Challenger’s Approach battles. You can choose whichever character you’d like to take part in the battle.
If you lose the rematch, the menu will then disappear and you will need to unlock it again. If you win, however, you can take on multiple rematches before the menu disappears again.
How to Unlock Challenger’s Approach Menu
The Challenger’s Approach is unlocked early on in the game after you’ve failed previous battles with unlockable characters.
Completing a Classic Mode Campaign seems to be the easiest way to unlock it. However, you can also sporadically unlock the menu via Smash battles and other modes.
If you lose the rematch, the menu will disappear and you’ll have to unlock it again. The best way to do this is by completing another Classic Mode Campaign.
Unlocking Characters in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Fighters in Smash Bros Ultimate can be unlocked via various methods. These include Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, and by playing a lot of Smash battles.
With a 10 minute cooldown in between unlockable fighter, players should be able to unlock all characters within 11 hours at the minimum.
