How To Play Fortnite Winter Royale
To sign up for the Fortnite Winter Royale tournament, all you have to do is play the events using Fortnite’s in-game tournament system.
You can play the qualifiers from the 24th to the 25th of November from the Fortnite Lobby. According to Epic Games, it will work much in the same way as the current Pop-Up Cup Tournament, where you can automatically enroll in tournament games.
Players will be competing for the highest scores to qualify for the finals. The Europe Winter Royale Finals will take place from 11/30/2018 – 12/1/2018 while the NA Winter Royale Finals will take place from 12/11/2018 – 12/12/2018.
The tournament is open to everyone, so get ready this Saturday and Sunday to climb through the rankings and compete. You can find more information on the Fortnite Winter Royale Tournament on the Fortnite website.
More Ways to Compete in Fortnite
Despite the game being out for a little over a year, it has quickly become one of the fastest-rising esports. The $1 million Fortnite Fall Skirmish tournament concluded last month, with FaZe Tfue and Cloakzy taking the $400,000 grand prize.
Epic Games have stated the Fortnite Winter Royale Tournament is a trial for the upcoming Fortnite World Cup 2019. Much like with Winter Royale, the World Cup will be open for every player to qualify through the Fortnite tournament system, allowing for complete inclusivity.
There are also other paid online tournament systems and plenty of opportunities for anyone to play Fortnite for money. Expect to see it become an even bigger esport game in 2019.
