After a 3-day tournament with teams such as Renegades, Tyloo, Kinguin, and Ago, Heroic are the TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018 winners. It was a solid performance throughout, with the Swedish/Danish mix team topping Group B and proceeding to beat Tyloo in a Bo5 Grand Final. TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018 Results

Ten teams competed in the TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok tournament, but it was Heroic and Tyloo which made it to the end.

In the Group Stages, Heroic topped Group B. In a bevy of Bo2 map series, they beat MVP.PK and 5Power Gaming 2-0 while drawing 1-1 with pro100 and Kinguin. They then beat Renegades 2-1 in a Bo3 playoff to make the Grand Finals.

Tyloo had a slightly tougher route. Despite beating Renegades and Team One 2-0 in Group A, they lost 2-0 to both Alpha Red and AGO. However, they fought through the Loser’s Bracket in the playoffs, beating both pro100 and AGO 2-1.

In a grueling Best of 5, Heroic won Dust II (16-5) and Overpass (25-23). However, Tyloo came back to win Train (19-16) and Mirage (16-12).

It all came down to Inferno, where Heroic managed to score a 16-12 victory and become the TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018 Champions.

TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018 Highlights

Mertz was the MVP of the tournament, scoring some huge plays such as a Deagle 4k on the second round of Inferno.

Es3tag also stepped up big time. When all hope seemed lost against Tyloo on Overpass, his 1v3 clutch kept Heroic in the game, which they later went on to win 25-23.


MODDII also scored a huge ace against Tyloo on Dust II.

Tyloo also played strongly, with highlights such as somebody’s 4k hold on Mirage B site.
