The Nintendo Switch Online games library is getting an update. The subscription service allows users to play a library of free NES Games. New games are coming, such as Zelda II and Blaster Master. However, leaks show that there will also be free SNES Games coming to Nintendo Switch Online!

SNES Games Coming To Nintendo Switch Online Leak

Earlier this month, a Tweet by Nintendo revealed that Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and Blaster Master will be added to Nintendo Switch Online. These games will be available to play from the 16th of January.

However, a data miner on Twitter (@KappucinoHeck) also found SNES Games in the NES Online data.

It seems Switch Online subscribers will now have a choice between a range of classic NES and SNES games to play. If these follow the new NES releases, we could see them as soon as tomorrow.

Next Nintendo Direct In January?

It seems like we should see a new Nintendo Direct January 2019 any day now.

Nintendo has many upcoming games that still need release dates. There’s also a lot of leaks and rumors about new Smash Bros Ultimate DLC.

Along with a bevy of new SNES Games to release, Nintendo would have plenty to cover in a new Nintendo Direct broadcast.
