If you’ve ever wondered what the 5 rarest skins in Fortnite are, then look no further. We’ve put together our personal list of what we believe the be the rarest skins in Fortnite, as of April 2021.
It’s important to note that many base the rarity of skin with how long its been since the skin was in the Item Shop. If one of the skins below were to reappear in the Item Shop a few days after we post this, it would definitely change the rarity of the skin.
We’d also like to give an honourable shout out to the Empress Back Bling, one of the most expensive Back Blings in the game and was once the rarest Back Bling around.
Recently, the Empress Back Bling made a return to the Fortnite Item Shop. You can read more about it at the link below.

5. Galaxy
Galaxy was an exclusive skin only made available to those that purchased a Samsung Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4. It was an incredibly unique skin at the time of release, but has since had a lookalike skin known as the ‘Galaxy Scout’ appear in the Item Shop multiple times.

4. Ghoul Trooper
The Ghoul Trooper is considered an ‘OG’ skin in Fortnite, as it was first released in Chapter 1, Season 1. The skin is of the Epic variety and costs 1,500 V-Bucks.
Although it is one of the most original skins in the game, it has had multiple reoccurrences in the Item Shop.

3. Crackshot
Crackshot is another Fortnite original, first appearing in Chapter 1, Season 2 back in 2017. The Christmas themed skin is of the Legendary variety and costs 2,000 V-Bucks.
It has made multiple appearances in the Item Shop since release, but we find you don’t come across many Crackshot skins in game, making it quite rare.

2. Black Knight
If you’ve got a Black Knight skin, you’re probably an old school Fortnite player. The skin was only obtainable through reaching Tier 70 in the Chapter 1, Season 2 Battle Pass. It will never make an appearance in the Item Shop due to it being an exclusive Battle Pass skin, meaning it will always be one of the rarest skins in Fortnite.

1. Renegade Raider
Well, it doesn’t get much more original than this. The Renegade Raider is a Rare outfit that costs 1,200 V-Bucks. It is widely considered as the rarest skin in the game as it has never reappeared in the Item Shop since it released in Chapter 1, Season 1.
If you own the Renegade Raider, you own the rarest skin in Fortnite.
