Keemstar is mad about Epic’s Fortnite Friday Summer Skirmish.

Both bad and good news for any Fortnite fans this Friday; the Friday Fortnite tournament and the Summer Skirmish are set to clash.

Epic Games had planned on hosting the Summer Skirmish events on a Saturday as to not clash with NerdOut’s Sunday tournament and Keemstar’s Friday tournament. However, at the last minute, it appears that Epic has moved around their Summer Skirmish event so it will clash with Keemstar’s Fortnite tournament planned for Friday.

KeemStar certainly wasn’t pleased and took to Twitter to fire back at the game developers for running an event for their own game on the same day he is.

Whose Side Are You On?

Despite his somewhat aggressive standpoint, Epic Games is likely to win out on this one. The Summer Skirmish offers players a $500,000 prize-pool, while Keemstar’s is just $20,000.

We are likely to see any players that were set to feature in both inevitably pick the Epic organised one.

Players may prefer being cosy with the game’s creators over a controversial online figure like Keemstar, too.

A Very Big Misunderstanding

He did send out a follow-up tweet stating that there had been bad communication between the two parties. Consequently, he will be moving his events to Sundays from now on. That means they’ll clash with NerdOut tournaments.

With this only being the second Summer Skirmish event – taking a different format to the last one – it will be interesting to see which event wins out.
