There have been loads of football Fortnite celebrations, and get ready to see them all at the World Cup.
A few years ago, you couldn’t watch a sport without someone doing the Gangnam Style dance. Everyone from footballers to cricketers, to even bowls players, were getting on the bandwagon.
As you may have guessed, there have been so, so many people jumping on another bandwagon of late… Fortnite. Obviously, as one of the most popular games in the world, many celebrities have played it, and many sports stars have as well.
So who are these athletes that are celebrating all their goals, wickets and wins by doing a dance from Fortnite? Well, today we’ll be looking at five footballers doing Fortnite celebrations.
1. Antoine Griezmann
Potentially no one has done a Fortnite dance on a larger stage than this French forward. We first spotted him doing it against Arsenal in the Europe League semi-final, when he pulled out the ‘L’ dance. Then he did it again when he netted in the Europa League final against Marseille.

To be fair, the ‘L’ dance seems a little cheeky to do, especially if you do it in front of opposition fans. He might just be one of the biggest names involved in the football Fortnite celebrations.
2. Dele Alli
Of course, Dele has been doing Fortnite dances, I mean he’s been streaming the game for the past few weeks. He started by doing the jubilation dance, which had every football journalist baffled. Then followed that up by doing the famous floss dance at Wembley, in the FA Cup semi-final!
3. Callum Paterson
This might actually be the lad who started making Fortnite dances popular for footballers, at least in England. The Cardiff City defender has been scoring loads of goals this season and has done so many dances – which he said was for the kids.
4. Karlsruher SC
Yes, that is a 3rd Division German side. Back in February of this year a load of players got involved in this celebration. While this wasn’t quite a Fortnite dance, it did show the scorer, Daniel Gordon, celebrate with his team-mates as they pretended to finish him off with a pickaxe.
Genius.
5. Patrick Bamford

Another player that was one of the first to get on the Fortnite bandwagon. This Middlesbrough striker initially celebrated by pretending to get revived by team-mate, and Fortnite buddy, Britt Assombalonga. This was back in February and saw the two players turned in to some seriously funny memes by Middlesbrough fans.
He then did another dance in the win over Birmingham but managed to not score since, and then got injured in the playoff semi-final. Hopefully, there will be some more Fortnite celebrations next season.
