The full Evo 2018 games lineup and finals order was announced this week, spanning tournaments of eight of the biggest fighting games in the world.

Evolution Championship Series is the leading esports tournament for fighting games. Evo 2018 starts on August 3, 2018, and lasts until the 5th.

Evo’s Joey Cuellar also released the Sunday finals order for games that will be played at the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Arena.

The best players for Smash Bros, DragonBall Fighter Z, Street Fighter V and more will be attending to compete for the win in their own respective tournaments.

DragonBall Fighter Z makes its Evo debut at the 2018 event. With more players signing up for this game than any others, it’s set to be big! Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition returns as Evo’s main event. Evo 2017 saw Tokido score a huge upset over Punk using Akuma.

Smash Bros. for Wii U is hugely popular thanks to a huge roster of fan faves like Mario and Cloud Strife. Last year MVG (now Team Liquid) Salem took the $9k prize after a battle with TSM ZeRo.

There’s also a tournament for Super Smash Bros. Melee. The fast-paced fighting game from 2001 is still of the biggest fighting esports. Evo 2017 saw Armada beat C9 Mango to take home 1st place.

Rounding out the Evo 2018 games are Tekken 7, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2, and Injustice 2. There’s something for every esports fan here, so look forward to some action across all consoles.

Smash Bros. Ultimate Makes An Appearance!

Evo 2018 will feature some of the best Smash Bros. players for Melee and WiiU. However, fans will also be able to try out a free demo of the upcoming Smash Bros. Ultimate!

This is exciting news for fight game fans with Smash 5 being one of the biggest upcoming esports in 2018. The game will make big waves at Evo 2019 and other fighting esports events after its release on December 7, 2018.
