A brand new celebrity esports league, the eFighting League (eFL), will feature Mark Hunt and Ben 10 Nguyen in its debut event! The inaugural eFL London event on Dec 29 will feature games like Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, and Super Smash Bros.

Think of it like EVO but with celebrity gamers alongside pros. UFC Heavyweight Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt and UFC Flyweight Ben “10” Nguyen will go head-to-head in some of the best fighting game esports. They’ll also captain teams of other celebrities and pro gamers for the fighting game battles.
eFL London – Mark Hunt vs Ben Nguyen
The eFighting League will hold their first event, pitting the two UFC fighters against each other. eFL One will kick off on the 29th December 2018 at The Troxy, London.
The eFL promise an exciting event, featuring pro players battling along with celebrities.
The feature event will be a head to head battle with Mark ‘Super Samoan’ Hunt taking on Ben ‘10’ Nguyen in a match which will have all the atmosphere of a real MMA fight along with pro players, all battling it out for eSports and gaming’s first ever championship belt.
Mark Hunt has been a huge gaming fan for years, even showing up at the IEM Sydney CS:GO tournament earlier in 2018. He commented on his upcoming eFL appearance in a press release:
I am so excited to be part of the eFL, showing the younger generation a healthy digital and physical life, playing fair and winning without cheating.
Ben “10” Nguyen also added:
As a kid, ‘Ryu’ from Street Fighter inspired me to get into martial arts and now gaming with the eFL I get to be both an eSports and Sports professional
Ben 10 is a top UFC Flyweight. Although, some might also recognize him from this viral video.
What is the eFL?
The eFighting League is a celebrity esports league where celebrity gamers and pros face off in esports games.
The eFL will feature competitions in Tekken 7, Street Fighter 5, Mortal Kombat X, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, and Super Smash Bros. Each game will have its own league and championship belt.
While the first event features the two UFC pros facing off, expect to see more big personalities announced for the league in the near future.
