Is there any doubt that Natus Vincere are the best CS:GO team in the world?

Natus Vincere won their third major of the year after beating BIG 16-8 in the ESL Cologne final.

The Ukranian-based Counter-Strike team once again proved why they are one of the best teams in the world; even knocking off rivals (and tournament favourites), Astralis, in the semi-finals.

Once again, S1mple proved he is easily one of the best players around; even veteran Zeus almost did something!

Na’Vi had it pretty comfortable in the game, but credit should go the BIG. They shocked everyone making it to the final. beating G2 esports and FaZe Clan to reach the home soil final.

The final was a step too far for them, but BIG gave it all against Na’Vi, with them winning Dust 2 16-11. Johannes “tabseN” Wodar picked up an outrageous ace while being under serious pressure.

No Quarter

However, that was matched in the very next round as Denis “electronic” Sharipov pulled off a power surge to bring it back to 11-10 on Dust.

The final map, Inferno, saw Na’Vi ramp up the heat.

S1mple pulled off another 1v3 clutch win to make it 13-7; dropping any hopes that BIG had of a comeback. S1mple was named MVP of the tournament and with good reason.

Both electronic and English scored an ace, however, and Smooya could have taken the prize also.

Na’Vi will be the side to beat when they compete at the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier, which kicks off later this month.
