The IEM Katowice Minors have concluded and we now know all 24 teams attending the IEM Katowice CS:GO Major 2019. Winstrike and ViCi Gaming are the final two teams to make it via the 3rd Place Play-In. They’ll join the winners of the EU, CIS, Asia, and Americas Minors, along with the Returning Challengers from the FACEIT London Major. Here’s all CS:GO Major Teams for IEM Katowice 2019.

All CS:GO Major Teams for IEM Katowice 2019

The IEM Katowice 2019 Major will feature 24 teams, a mix of new qualifiers and returning teams from the FACEIT London Major 2018. All CS:GO Major Teams will have the chance to make it to the finals.

Teams qualifying from the Minors will join the Bottom 8 teams from last major to battle it out in the New Challengers stage. IEM listed all challenging teams on Twitter.


AVANGAR and Team Spirit were the top 2 teams at the CIS Minor. ENCE and Team Vitality made it through the EU Minor. Furia and NRG are the two teams to make it via the Americas Minor. Renegades and Grayhound Gaming are the top 2 from the Asia Minor.

The third-place teams from each minor competed for the last 2 spots via the Third Place Play-In. While many fans would expect EU and America to come out on top, it was actually Winstrike (CIS) and ViCi Gaming (Asia) which made it through.

These Challengers will battle it out from February 13 – 17 to make it into the New Legends stage.

The New Legends Teams for IEM Katowice 2019

The top eight teams from the previous London CS:GO Major are as follows.

  • Astralis
  • Natus Vincere
  • Team Liquid
  • MIBR
  • compLexity Gaming
  • BIG
  • HellRaisers
  • FaZe Clan

These teams are automatically in the New Legends stage which starts on February 20th. They’ll battle it out against the top 8 teams from the New Challengers stage to make it into the final stage- The New Champions.

IEM Katowice CS:GO Major Dates

The IEM Katowice CS:GO Major 2019 will run in three stages.

  • The New Challengers Stage: February 13th – 17th
  • New Legends Stage: February 20th – 24th
  • The New Champions Stage: February 28th – March 3rd

The action begins just over 2 weeks away on February 13th and lasts until the grand finale on March 3rd. You can follow the major via ESL_CSGO and ESL_CSGOb on Twitch or check out the IEM Katowice website for all streams.
