You can also play the Spirit Board with up to four players now. Before entering the Spirits battle, go to the Party screen and you can add new players just as you would in other modes.

New Spirits have also been added to the shop. These include the following:

  • Partner Pikachu
  • Partner Eevee
  • Dice Block
  • River Survival
  • Golden Dash Mushroom

The calculation method for Global Smash Power has also changed, plus some minor tweaks and bugfixes. You can view details on the latest updates in the official Nintendo patch notes.

All Character Changes in Smash Bros Ultimate 2.0.0

Many characters have received buffs and nerfs. In previous updates, fans complained that Nintendo did not give enough information about the character updates in their patch notes. These complaints have now been heard, as a huge list of all changes has been made.

Changes have been made to 56 characters, including Mario, Donkey Kong, Snake, Chrom, Daisy, Peach, Jigglypuff, and many more.

The majority of these are buffs, improving the competitive viability of these fighters. We’ll see how they shake up the Smash Bros Ultimate Tier Lists in 2019.
