The legendary Smash Summit is back in action tomorrow on March 7th, 2019. However, this one is particularly notable as it’s the first ever Smash Ultimate Summit. The event will test the skills of 16 top players who made it in via various different routes. Here are all 16 Smash Ultimate Summit players and what to expect from the event.

All Smash Ultimate Summit Players

The Smash Ultimate Summit will feature a Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament of 16 different competitive players.

The first six spots were via invite. These were given to some of the biggest names in the Melee and Smash 4 scenes.

  3. Nairo
  4. Armada
  5. Leffen
  6. Mew2king

Four further spots were given to the top four non-invited players at Genesis 6. One further spot was given to the winner of Ultimate Nimbus.

  1. VoiD (2nd at Genesis 6)
  2. Samsora (3rd at Genesis 6)
  3. Dabuz (4th at Genesis 6)
  4. Zackray (5th at Genesis 6)
  5. Light (Ultimate Nimbus Champion)

The rest of the players made it in via a public vote. Players were able to campaign for Twitter votes to get in with 20 making it to the next stage. These were then cut down to 5 via another stage of voting.

The 16-player tournament features some of the top names from Smash Bros Melee, Smash 4, and Ultimate. Notable names to miss out include Tweek, Hungrybox, ESAM, and Salem.

How to Watch Smash Ultimate Summit

The Smash Ultimate Summit event will run from March 7 – 10. In addition to a Smash Ultimate Singles tournament, it’ll also feature a Squad Strike tournament and many other fun events.

Random vs. Random matches, Melee vs. Smash Community Crew Battles, and other features will round out the event. With some of the top players in the Smash scene, it’s a must watch for Smash Bros fans.
